Police Appeal for Help in Locating Wanted Man Following Alleged Assault at Jarrow Pub

Northumbria Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a South Tyneside man wanted in connection with an alleged assault at a Jarrow pub.

Kevin Gosling, 40, is sought by police following an incident that took place on Saturday night (September 14) at The Lakeside Inn, near the Fellgate Estate in Jarrow. Officers have stated that Gosling is actively evading arrest, and despite extensive searches across the region, he has yet to be found.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have information on Gosling’s whereabouts to come forward. Northumbria Police have also reminded the public that it is a criminal offence to harbour a wanted person, and those who do so could face prosecution.

Anyone who believes they have seen Gosling or knows where he may be is encouraged to contact Northumbria Police. Information can be shared via a direct message on the police’s social media channels or through the live chat function on their website. For those unable to contact police online, they can call 101 and quote reference number NP-20240914-1221.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to assist.
