Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Collision in Farnborough that Left Elderly Woman Seriously Injured

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision that occurred on Monday, 9 September, in Farnborough. The incident took place at approximately 5:16pm on Kingsmead, near Sainsbury’s, and involved a red Nissan Leaf and an elderly woman in her 80s.

The woman sustained serious injuries to her ankle and knee and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision and are urging any witnesses or those with dash-cam footage to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage from the area at the time, as this could prove crucial in determining what happened.”

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the police by calling 101, quoting reference number 44240387590. Information can also be submitted online.
