Residents of Redcar are being urged to remain vigilant following reports of suspicious activity in the early hours of Friday, September 13. Cleveland Police are investigating an incident in the Salcombe Way area where three men were allegedly seen attempting to gain access to vehicles.
According to witnesses, the suspects were observed trying car door handles and peering into vehicles between 02:00 and 02:40. The men are described as being in their early to mid-twenties, standing between 5’6″ and 5’8″ tall, and wearing dark clothing. Two of the suspects are believed to be white males, while one was seen wearing a balaclava.
Cleveland Police are encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity in the area by calling 101. Those with information specifically related to this incident are asked to quote reference number 176397 when contacting the authorities.
