A 16-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with a robbery involving a teenager in Gillingham.
The victim had arranged to sell a pair of earbuds and went to Trafalgar Street at around 9:30pm on Monday, 9 September 2024. Upon arrival, the victim was reportedly threatened with a knife by the offender, who then stole both the earbuds and the victim’s mobile phone.
Following police enquiries, officers arrested the 16-year-old boy at approximately 1:40am on Thursday, 12 September. He has since been released on bail pending further investigation, with a return date set for Friday, 12 December.
Police are continuing their enquiries into the incident and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
