A man has been charged in connection with an incident that took place in Paisley Town Centre during the early hours of Sunday morning. According to authorities, the man initially acted suspiciously toward a woman before his behaviour escalated to aggression. Following a report, officers quickly responded to the scene and were able to locate and apprehend a suspect.
Legal Proceedings and Investigation
The man, whose identity has not been released, has been charged and subsequently released on an undertaking to appear before Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date. The specifics of the charges have not yet been made public.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith, who is overseeing the investigation, said, “Enquiries into this incident remain ongoing, and we are appealing to any potential witnesses who were in Paisley Town Centre during the early hours of Sunday morning to please come forward.
