Police Investigating Robbery Attempt at Devizes Jewellers

Officers are investigating an attempted robbery at Estcourt Jewellers on Estcourt Street, Devizes, which occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. on August 24.

Two men entered the jewellers and demanded that a staff member hand over money from the till. Fortunately, the attempted robbery was unsuccessful, and both men fled the premises empty-handed.

The suspects, along with a driver, left the scene in a silver Vauxhall Astra. All three individuals were wearing dark clothing and full-face balaclavas, and the number plates on the vehicle were covered. They were last seen turning left at the roundabout near Dominos.

Police are currently conducting enquiries and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information to come forward.
