British Transport Police (BTP) are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who threatened a passenger with a knife at Waddon railway station in Croydon. The alarming incident occurred on Friday, August 2, at around 5:45 am.
The male victim was waiting on the platform when he was approached by a man wielding a knife, who proceeded to threaten him. Thankfully, the victim was able to escape the area unharmed.
In connection with their investigation, detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to. In the image, the man appears to be wearing a navy long-sleeved t-shirt over an undershirt and has headphones, as well as what seems to be a chain around his neck.
BTP officers believe the man in the image may have vital information that could assist their inquiries and are appealing to the public for help in identifying and locating him.
