Officers from Metropolitan Police were called to Regina Road, N4, at 10.48pm on Thursday, 1 August, following reports of a boy being stabbed.
Officers responded promptly to the scene and found evidence of injuries; however, the victim had already left the area. Through diligent enquiries, police were able to locate the victim, a 16-year-old boy, who was subsequently taken to an east London hospital for treatment to knife wounds. His injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.
Crime scenes were established in the area but have since been removed. Detectives from the Met’s Central North Command are leading the investigation into the incident. At this early stage, no arrests have been made.
The police are appealing to the public for any information that might assist in their investigation. Witnesses to the incident or anyone with dash cam footage are urged to come forward.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said, “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed any part of this incident or who may have captured footage on their dash cam. Any piece of information, no matter how small, could be crucial in helping us understand the circumstances surrounding this attack.”
