Police Service Northern Ireland are appealing for information and witnesses following an incident of vandalism that occurred on Friday evening, July 5, within the grounds of a hospital on Lisburn Road.
According to Inspector McCrum, a report was received shortly after 10pm, indicating that the windscreens of up to 11 vehicles parked in the area had been deliberately broken. The incident is being treated as criminal damage, and investigators are actively pursuing leads.
Ongoing Enquiries and Motive Investigation
Enquiries are currently underway, with law enforcement examining CCTV footage and other relevant evidence. The primary objective is to establish a motive behind this senseless act of vandalism and identify those responsible.
Inspector McCrum urged anyone who was in the vicinity between 20:20 and 21:20 on July 5 and noticed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary to come forward. Witnesses can contact the police by dialing 101 and quoting reference number 1733 05/07/24.
