Police were called at approximately 5pm on Wednesday, July 3, to reports of a stabbing on Peterborough Road, Carshalton.
Upon arrival, officers and the London Ambulance Service found a 14-year-old boy suffering from injuries. He was promptly taken to the hospital, where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
Two males have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and are currently in custody. Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
The Metropolitan Police have appealed to the public for any information regarding the incident. Witnesses or those with information are urged to call 101 or contact the police on social media platform ‘X’ @MetCC, quoting reference CAD 5690/3Jul. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
