Authorities are continuing to appeal for information to locate Ricky Harris, a 31-year-old man who has been missing since 18 November 2023. The disappearance has raised growing concern for his safety.
Ricky was last seen on CCTV at approximately 14:20 on that Saturday afternoon in Maes-y-Deri, Aberdare. He was wearing grey and black clothing at the time. Known to frequent the local route called the Dram Road, Ricky has connections to Aberdare, Pontypridd, and Tredegar.
In November Detective Inspector Owain Morrison emphasised the urgency of the investigation: "Despite several public appeals and potential sightings, none of which have been confirmed, Ricky remains missing. We urge anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts to come forward."

In a heartfelt family statement, Ricky’s loved ones expressed their anguish and determination: "New information about Ricky’s whereabouts and the people he was with at the time of his disappearance has come to light.
