Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 3:00 pm today to reports of a male stabbed on Powis Street, SE18.
Officers and London’s Air Ambulance quickly attended the scene. The victim believed to be in his 20s, was transported to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injury is not considered life-threatening.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack occurred on Barnard Place before the victim made his way to Powis Street.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody. A crime scene has been established as detectives continue their investigation.
