A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark, a 36-year-old woman, in the Riddrie area of Glasgow. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

At approximately 19:40 police received a report of a seriously injured woman within a property on Tummel Street. Emergency services promptly responded, but tragically, Maxine Clark was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s family has been notified of the devastating loss.

The accused individual is scheduled to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 1, 2024. A comprehensive report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal as part of the ongoing investigation.
