Police are intensifying their efforts to locate Dolars Aleksanders, the prime suspect in a fatal hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of 12-year-old Keaton Slater. The tragic collision occurred on Radford Road around 16:30 last Friday.
Aleksanders, a 21-year-old, is wanted on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Investigators are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
The ongoing enquiry has led to several arrests, including a 56-year-old man suspected of assisting an offender and a 21-year-old man arrested for causing death by dangerous driving. Both individuals have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Sgt. Rich Evans, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, expressed the team’s commitment to bringing all involved parties to justice. “Our thoughts remain with Keaton’s devastated family during this truly awful time,” he said. “We appeal to anyone who possesses vital information to do the right thing and help us locate Aleksanders.”
