In a sombre turn of events, search teams have discovered the body of a man in Norwich. The man is thought to be 37-year-old Anthony Hill, a missing primary school teacher from Thorpe St Andrew. Officers found the body off Heathgate, near Mousehold Heath, just before 8am on Thursday.
While formal identification is pending, authorities have informed Mr. Hill’s family. Norfolk Police have stated that the death is not believed to be suspicious.
Anthony Hill, who previously worked on Martin Lewis’s MoneySavingExpert website, had embarked on a career change to become a teacher. Lewis, a well-known TV presenter, had passionately appealed to the public to assist in locating his former colleague.
The search efforts extended beyond official teams, with members of the public joining in to help find Mr. Hill. His last known movements were leaving his home on Plumstead Road East at 07:45. on Monday and being spotted at the Co-op shop on Sprowston Road at 09:58 Authorities believe he then headed toward Mousehold Heath via Gilman Road.
