Garage Fire in Maidstone Extinguished by Firefighters
Bedroom Fire in Ashford Extinguished by Fire Crews

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, a garage fire broke out on Flaxman Drive, prompting a swift response from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, successfully extinguished the blaze using main hose jets.

The cause of the fire was identified as a faulty fridge freezer. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

Emergency services were on-site from 12:39 PM to 2:52 PM, ensuring the area was safe and the fire was completely out.

Residents are reminded to regularly check their electrical appliances to prevent such incidents.
