On Monday 20 May 2024, a burglary was reported at a property in Cooling Road, Rochester where a quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen.
Officers from the Kent Crime Squad started an investigation and completed a review of CCTV in the area, along with a forensic examination of the scene. Detectives subsequently attended a location in Charlton, Greater London on Wednesday 29 May, where they arrested three suspects.
George Preduna and Florin Burtan, both of no fixed address, were later charged with burglary. The third man was released without charge. Mr Preduna, 34, and Mr Burtan, 36, were remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 31 May.
