Wiltshire Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two individuals following a dog attack in Melksham.

The incident occurred on May 26 between 1.15pm and 1.30pm in Shurnhold Fields. The victim was walking her dog when she spotted two dogs with their owners, both of which were on leads.

One of the dogs managed to pull away from its owner and ran towards the victim and her dog. In an attempt to protect her pet, the victim picked up her dog. However, the suspect’s dog bit the victim on her arm, causing puncture wounds.
