On Monday, three people lost their lives and six others were wounded during a Russian attack on Ukraine’s southern Mykolaiv region. The Ukrainian emergencies service and a local official confirmed the casualties.
Details of the Attack
According to reports, a missile struck the town of Snihurivka, resulting in significant damage to several establishments. The impact caused a fire to break out in a coffee shop, a car shop, and a tyre service. Additionally, the blast wave severely damaged a self-service car wash.
Casualties and Recovery Efforts
During the rubble removal process, the bodies of two victims were discovered. The Mykolaiv governor later confirmed that the death toll had risen to three. Emergency responders are actively working to provide aid to the wounded and assess the full extent of the damage caused by the attack.
