Police were called at approximately 11.40pm on Friday, 7 July 2023 to Homerton Road, Hackney, following reports that shots had been fired.

Officers responded and following an search of the area they established that there were no injured persons and those involved had left the scene.

A crime scene was established and a bullet casing was recovered.

Detectives from Specialist Crime began an investigation.

Following extensive enquiries they are now releasing short footage of a man they want to speak to.

There have been no arrests at this time.
