Bromley, May 17, 2024 – The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Friday:
Eric Taylor, 56, of Barnfield Road in Orpington, admitted to stealing meat worth £99 from a BP garage on Lee High Road on April 12. Taylor was given a one-year conditional discharge.
Ryan Kiely, 31, of no fixed address, admitted to repeatedly stealing from the BP garage on Lee High Road. Kiely was sentenced to eight months in jail.
Anthony Barber, 45, of Sydenham Park, admitted to stealing bottles of perfume from a motor vehicle in Sydenham on May 26, 2022. Barber was fined £200.
Harry Short, 18, of Four Elms Road in Edenbridge, admitted to drug driving in Sidcup on January 13. Short was disqualified from driving for one year and fined £120.
Marissa Patel, 27, of Spring Park Avenue in Croydon, admitted to drink driving in Beckenham on April 10. Patel was disqualified from driving for one year and fined £332.
Richard Halford, 41, of Homefield Rise in Orpington, admitted to stealing ten jars of coffee, one packet of cakes, one milkshake, and four packets of salmon from The Co-op in Orpington on May 16. Halford was fined £100.
Miraj Patel, 36, of Raymond Road in Upton Park, admitted to failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis after being suspected of a driving offence. Patel was given a one-year community order, including 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also disqualified from driving for two years and four months.
