At around 7.10pm on Monday 13 May 2024, Kent Police received a report of an assault and criminal damage inside an address in Carnation Road.
It is alleged a suspect left the address on foot towards the High Street where he assaulted members of the public and damaged some vehicles.
Two of the victims, a man and a woman, were later taken to hospital for medical attention to their injuries.
Patrols were dispatched at 7.16pm and arrived at the scene two minutes later, where they detained a 30-year-old man. He was taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
Officers are urging witnesses and anyone with relevant mobile phone, private CCTV or dashcam footage to contact the appeal line.
