Kent Fire and Rescue Service swiftly responded to reports of a lorry engulfed in flames on the M20 London-bound, causing disruption to traffic in the area.
Upon arrival at the scene, three fire engines, along with a bulk water carrier and the technical rescue unit, were deployed to tackle the blaze. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, utilized hose reel jets and covering jets to combat the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
Amidst the emergency response, first aid was administered to one individual for minor smoke inhalation, demonstrating the comprehensive support provided by emergency services during such incidents.
