Holiday experts have issued a warning to UK travellers, advising them to book their summer holidays no later than June 8 to secure the best choice of properties.
As the summer break approaches, families and groups planning vacations, whether domestic or international, are encouraged not to delay in making their bookings.
The experts have also provided insights into the cheapest and most expensive days to fly this summer, as well as tips on how to save money when booking flights.
For travellers flying within the UK, the cheapest days to fly are reportedly July 28 and August 19 and 23. Those planning international trips can find the best deals on June 2, 13, and August 28.
Additionally, They have identified the least busy days to fly domestically as June 10 and July 11 and 19, with June 4 and August 27 and 30 recommended for quieter international travel experiences.
However, travellers should be mindful of the most expensive days to fly, which include June 30 July 8 and 16 for UK flights, and July 22, 23, and 29 for international flights.
To help travellers save money on flights, Vrbo suggests booking flights for Wednesdays for domestic travel and Thursdays for international travel, potentially saving 20% and 15%, respectively, compared to weekend flights.
Additional tips include setting up flight alerts and opting for morning flights, which are less likely to experience cancellations compared to afternoon departures.
