A man has been charged with a murder in Waltham Forest
Sussex Police Seek Public Help Regarding St Wilfrid’s School Offences

An investigation was launched after police were called at around 11.51pm on Thursday, 18 April to an address in South Birkbeck Road, E11.

Officers attended and found a man suffering stab injuries. They provided emergency first aid alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Despite their efforts, the man died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Petro Bebko, 23, of Leytonstone. His family have been informed. A post-mortem examination held on 19 April gave cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.

Mykola Yakymets, 34, was arrested at the address. On Sunday, 21 April, he was charged with the murder of Petro Bebko.

Both men lived at the address in South Birkbeck Road.

Mykola Yakymets will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 22 April.
