Police Investigate Incident, Arrest Made
Police responded to a distress call at 07:53hrs on Saturday, April 6, reporting an assault on New Kent Road, SE1. Upon arrival, officers found a man with significant head and facial injuries resulting from the attack.
The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and evaluation. Fortunately, he was later discharged after receiving appropriate care.
Subsequently, Officers from the Met Police detained another individual on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) in connection with the assault. As a precautionary measure, the apprehended individual was also taken to the hospital for assessment before being placed into police custody.
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is actively investigating the incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the assault. Details regarding the motive behind the attack and the relationship between the victim and the suspect remain under investigation.
