Man pulled out of canal by boater after jumping from Mile End bridge

Man pulled out of canal by boater after jumping from Mile End bridge He was detained by the police under the Mental Health Act Police were called to the scene to reports of a man having mental health issues but before they arrived he had already jumped from Mile End Bridge, where Mile End Road (A11) crosses the Regent’s Canal. The man was detained by Police under the Mental Health Act before being taken to hospital and then to a mental health facility.
