Fatal Ilford stab victim made last dying phone call to his uncle to say he wasn’t going to make it
Police were called at 10.20pm on Tuesday, 19 November to Fullwell Avenue, Ilford, following reports of a fight outside a residential building.
Officers attended and found a 19-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.
Police administered first aid prior to the arrival of LAS. However, the victim died at the scene. Speaking exclusively to UK News in Pictures the heartbroken uncle said that his nephew made a dying call around 10.30pm on Tuesday to him tell him that he’d been stabbed and he knew he wasn’t going to make it. He’s gone out earlier in the evening with a group of friends in a car. said the man who asked not to be named as he was too upset and still coming to term with the devistating news. I received the call I knew he was in some trouble from the way he was sekaing on the phone he said he’d been stabbed and wasn’t going to make it I went out trying to look for him I look in a number of difference places and could find him. The words will stay with me. Another life has been taken so soon. Enquiries are ongoing to inform his next of kin. At this early stage there have been no arrests. Police and the LFB had been called around the same time to reports of a fire at a nearby set of garages. Officers are working to establish whether the incidents are linked.
A Section 60 Order has been implemented for the entirety of the Borough of Redbridge until 06:30hrs.
