Detectives have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in south-east London as 30-year-old Shaquille Graham, as they appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The incident occurred around 04:30hrs on Sunday, 10 March, on Catford Broadway. Police were called to reports of a shooting and upon arrival, found Graham with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts from paramedics, he tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Graham’s next of kin are currently receiving support from family liaison officers as they cope with the devastating loss.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, but no arrests have been made thus far. Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs, of the Met’s Specialist Crime, urged anyone with information to come forward.
We are making good progress with our investigation and a number of leads are being followed up,” said Detective Superintendent Hobbs. Although the shooting happened in the middle of the night, it happened on a busy road and there will have been witnesses who may have seen or heard something.
He continued, “We are determined to secure justice for Shaquille’s grieving family and friends.
