Man charged with administering substance to endanger life

Detectives investigating the death of 43-year-old Adrian Murphy in Battersea have charged a man. Joel Osei, 24 (11.11.94) of no fixed abode, was arrested on Thursday, 24 October. He was also charged with offences relating to an incident in Walthamstow on 30 May when a 40-year-old man was found unconscious. He was taken to hospital and later discharged. Adrian Murphy was found dead on Tuesday, 4 June at a block of flats in Battersea. On Friday, 25 October Osei was charged with: Two counts of poisoning – administering a substance to endanger life/inflict GBH (in relation to both incidents) Two counts of theft (in relation to both incidents) Six counts of fraud by false representation (in relation to both victims) He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 26 October.
