Kent Police are appealing to witnesses and the public for information related to an assault that occurred in Folkestone on January 19, 2024.
The incident reportedly took place at approximately 3:40 pm when a man approached a group of teenage boys waiting at a bus stop on Cheriton Road, near the junction with Cherry Garden Avenue.
According to reports, the man assaulted one of the boys, attempted to assault another, and made threats towards a third individual. As a result of the altercation, the victim who was assaulted sustained a facial injury.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s to early-30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with black hair styled in a middle parting, blue eyes, and a short dark beard. He was last seen walking towards Cheriton High Street.
Kent Police are urging anyone with information about the incident, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist in the investigation, to come forward. Witnesses and individuals with relevant information are asked to contact Kent Police at 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/12310/24.
