Two men in their 20s have been charged with affray in connection with a series of violent altercations that took place in Gants Hill, Ilford, on Sunday, January 28. The Metropolitan Police were alerted to the incidents at approximately 3.50am, following reports of several fights erupting on Cranbrook Road.
Upon arrival, officers found that those involved in the disturbances had already dispersed from the scene. However, two individuals later presented themselves at a local hospital for medical treatment due to stab injuries sustained during the altercations.
The Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the charges, stating, “Two men, aged in their 20s, have been charged with affray following an incident in Ilford on Sunday, 28 January.
