Police have launched a fresh plea for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Faversham. A 65-year-old man was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on the evening of Saturday 27 September.
Crash Details: Victim Hit on North Lane
The victim was walking near the junction of North Lane and Partridge Lane around 7.45pm when he was hit. Witnesses report seeing a Ford Focus and another small hatchback travelling south on North Lane towards South Road just before the collision.
Who Saw What? Police Zero In on Key Vehicles
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) want to talk to the drivers of these cars. They may hold vital information or have witnessed the movements of a Nissan flatbed/tipper involved in the crash. Following the smash, the injured man was rushed to a London hospital and remains in critical condition.
Calls for Witnesses and Footage
Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident but were later released on bail. Kent Police urge anyone who saw the Nissan tipper or the collision to come forward immediately. Dashcam or phone recordings can be uploaded online right now.
