Police stormed homes in Pilgrims Hatch at 7am this morning (October 3), battering down doors in a bold bid to crack down on drug crime.

Class A Drugs and Cash Seized

The dawn raids uncovered a haul including suspected Class A drugs, a safe, mobile phones, cash, scales, and bags with white powder residue. Two women were arrested on the spot.

Both suspects were taken into custody in Grays and Harlow, police confirmed.

Community Hero Cops Strike Back

Sgt Lauren Sharland of Brentwood Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We got reports of suspected drug offences and moved fast to make arrests.

“Drug dealing causes huge damage in the community. It exploits the vulnerable and fuels crime from shoplifting to violent offences.

“We’re dedicated to shutting down drug supply lines and putting dealers behind bars. If you’re dealing in Brentwood, expect a visit from us.”

Police Urge Public to Snitch

Sgt Sharland added: “If you suspect drug dealing in your area, report it to us or contact Crimestoppers anonymously. The more info we get, the tougher we can hit these criminals.”
