A shocking stabbing on Station Road, Bamber Bridge, has left one woman injured and another seriously hurt. Police have charged five suspects following the violent Sunday night attack on September 28.
Late Night Violence Rocks Bamber Bridge
Lancashire Police rushed to Station Road at 10:19 PM after frantic calls reported a vicious assault. A woman in her 50s suffered facial injuries, while a younger woman, in her 20s, was stabbed in the elbow.
Four suspects were arrested on the spot. A fifth was tracked down two days later in Chorley on Tuesday, September 30. All five now face charges linked to the stabbing and violent disorder.
Who’s Facing The Music?
- Alex Barnes, 22, from Station Road, Bamber Bridge – charged with wounding with intent, threatening with a blade in public, and violent disorder. Remanded to Preston Magistrates’ Court on September 30.
- Stuart Kay, 44, of Woodcock Close, Bamber Bridge – charged with violent disorder and attempted burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Also remanded for September 30 court date.
- Leon Brown, 22, from Fell View, Chorley – charged with violent disorder; appeared in court October 1.
- Two Teens, 16 and 17 – both slapped with violent disorder charges, bailed pending October 14 appearance at Preston Youth Court.
Investigation Still Raging
