Police rushed to Rectory Fields, Ealing, at around 1pm on September 24 following a horrifying dog attack on a young child.

A three-year-old girl suffered severe leg injuries and was swiftly taken to hospital by paramedics. She is currently receiving treatment for her wounds.
Dog Owner Flees, Police Launch Appeal
Officers believe the dog’s owner fled the scene before they arrived. No arrests have been made so far.
“Officers are investigating an alleged dog attack which occurred at around 12:50hrs on Wednesday, 24 September in Rectory Fields, Ealing,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.
“A three-year-old girl was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where she received treatment for severe injuries to her leg.”
“It is believed the owner of the dog left the scene before police arrived. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
“Anyone who has information relating to the owner of the dog, or witnessed the incident, is asked to contact the Met via 101, quoting 01/8008839/25.”
The police are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and help bring the culprit to justice.
