A man has been locked up for life after stabbing his wife to death in their home in Ealing.

Mugurel Nica Found Guilty

Mugurel Nica, 51, from Jubilee Road, england/england/england/perivale/”>perivale/”>perivale/”>Perivale, was convicted of murdering 40-year-old Ana Maria Murariu at Southwark Crown Court on 16 September. The following day, 1 October, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years.

Knife Attack in Early Hours Shocks Neighbours

Police were called to the Jubilee Road address at 1:40am on Friday, 28 February after a family member made an emergency 999 call. Officers found Ana Maria critically injured and performed CPR at the scene, joined by paramedics. Despite their efforts, she died from stab wounds.

Nica was arrested on the spot and charged with murder on 1 March.
