Controversial activist Tommy Robinson has slammed the justice system after learning his upcoming trial will be decided by a single judge — not a jury. He branded the move a “gross miscarriage of justice.”
Prison Threat Looms in Just Two Weeks
Robinson faces court on 13th and 14th October, with the Stakesstakes higher than ever. The case, set at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, involves terrorism laws, which Robinson says are being weaponised against him.
“I face prison again in less than 2 Weeksweeks. On the 13th of October I will once again stand/”>stand/”>stand trial. This time the state have used terrorism legislation to attack me. Westminster magistrates 13th & 14th see you there.” – Tommy Robinson (@TRobinsonNewEra)
“No Jury, Just a Judge”: Robinson Rages Over Fairness
Taking to Twitter, Robinson slammed the judge-only trial. “No it’s not trial by jury, my fate will be decided by a judge alone,” he wrote.
Critics have also voiced concerns, warning this could undermine the fairness of the legal process and fuel claims of bias.
