Three Men Jailed for Kidnap, Torture, and Killing of DJ in Tottenham
Three men have been jailed over the kidnap, torture and killing of a popular DJ in Tottenham.
Mehmet Koray Alpergin and his girlfriend Gozde Dalbudak were snatched as they returned home from an Italian restaurant in Mayfair in October 2022.
They were taken to an empty wine bar near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where 43-year-old Mr Alpergin was said to have been beaten, throttled, scalded with boiling water, stabbed, maimed and horrifically violated.
His body was then dumped in woodland near the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate in Loughton and 34-year-old Ms Dalbudak spent two days locked in a toilet before being freed by her captors and given money for a taxi.

HBO Launches Open Casting Call for New ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series
The search for the next Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger for the new HBO original series has begun and it could be you.
HBO announced in 2023 it would be creating a new “decade-long” Harry Potter television series which would be a “faithful adaptation” of the world famous books written by JK Rowling, who will serve as executive producer.
It will feature a brand new cast while staying “authentic to the original books”, to bring the wizarding adventures to new audiences.
HBO begins search for new Harry Potter stars It has been over a year since the announcement of the new Harry Potter TV series was made.
But HBO has now begun the search for three children, from the UK and/or Ireland, to play the roles of the series’ main characters – Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

The Body Shop Announces New Ownership as British Tycoon Mike Jatania Takes Over
The Body Shop has updated its customers telling them it has a “new owner”.
The company has been rescued from administration by a consortium led by British tycoon Mike Jatania, with remaining stores to continue trading.
Mr Jatania’s investment firm Aurea announced the completion of the acquisition on Saturday (September 7), with Mr Jatania and Charles Denton, former chief executive of beauty brand Molton Brown, to head the new leadership team.
In a statement, Aurea said the acquisition was its largest transaction to date and it would “steer the Body Shop’s revival and reclaim its global leadership in the ethical beauty sector it pioneered”.
“This is a new and exciting chapter in The Body Shop’s history!”
It is currently understood there are no immediate plans to shut any of its 113 remaining UK stores.
