A31 Closed after Lorry in Collision with Pedestrian
Police have this morning closed the eastbound carriageway of the A31 near Picket Post and the Burley Services following a serious collision between a pedestrian and a Large good vehicle that happened just after 8am on thus morning. (May 19,Thursday) A number of resources from South Central ambulance have also been sent to the scene and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Ambulance has also been tasked to assist with the injuries pedestrian who is said to have serious injuries following the collision. Police have advised that the road closure eastbound at Ringwood expected to be in place until this afternoon.
