Police carry out drug raids across Southampton with NCA
Police officers continued Operation Fortress an operation to improve life in and around Hampshire in a joint operation today. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary working with the National Crime agency have executed a number of drugs warrants in and around Southampton city this morning its been revealed. Hampshire Constabulary executed 26 drugs warrants this morning as part of Operation Fortress, a partnership approach to shielding your community from drugs, drug related violence and those vulnerable to criminal exploitation. Police in Southampton carried out the operation in collaboration with the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), The National Crime Agency (NCA), the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and Merseyside Police, collectively involving 680 officers.
