Southampton Redbridge Flyover Closed after Collision

*SECTION OF REDBRIDGE FLYOVER CLOSED* Police are currently dealing with a collision on the Redbridge flyover in Southampton. The incident happened just after 3pm today. Causing delays in and out of Southampton. A section of the Redbridge Flyover has been closed and traffic is building in and around the around the area. Mountbatten Way towards Redbridge Road outbound there are long delays and people are  being asked to seek alternative routes. Traffic  is  stationary back to  Rushington roundabout. Police have asked drivers to please be patient. We’ll get things moving again as soon as we possibly can. A Spokesman for Highways England said “We have been advised by the Police that the incident is expected to clear between 16:15 and 16:30 today
