TARGETED ATTACKS West Kent Burglar Nabbed After Spree of Home Break-Ins

A suspected burglar has been charged following a series of break-ins across west Kent. The spate of thefts left residents shaken as homes in Ashford, Cranbrook, and Tonbridge were targeted between 8 June and 9 July 2025.

Six Homes Raided, Valuables Stolen

The thief allegedly broke into six properties by smashing patio door glass or slipping through open windows. Stolen items include jewellery, watches, handbags, cash—and even precious WW2 medals.

Police Crack the Case with CCTV and Forensics

Officers carried out forensic analysis and combed through CCTV footage at every scene. Their hard work paid off when a man was arrested on 15 October in connection with the burglaries.

George Dunn Charged with Multiple Burglaries and Driving Offences

George Dunn, 42, from Quarry Road, Maidstone, faces six counts of burglary and several driving offences. He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 16 October and was remanded to Maidstone Crown Court on 14 November.
